Vibe Arcade is a small open-source arcade of terminal games for Claude Code. This page covers everything the site and games collect — it's short because there isn't much.

What we collect

Account (optional). If you sign in with GitHub, we store the name, avatar URL, and email address GitHub provides via OAuth. That's the whole profile — we ask for no extra scopes and never see your GitHub password.
Leaderboard. If you sync scores, your GitHub display name and avatar appear on the public leaderboard alongside your game stats (XP, best wave, total runs) and unlocked achievements.
High Score Circuit (paid, testnet). Ranked entries store the initials/name you enter (3–16 characters), your score, and a reference to the x402 payment settlement. Settlements happen on the Base Sepolia test blockchain, which is public and permanent — the paying wallet address and transaction are visible to anyone. Don't use a wallet or name you wouldn't want associated with a public arcade score.
Nothing else. Game state itself (XP, currencies, runs) lives in ~/.claude-arcade/ on your machine and only leaves it if you opt into score sync.

What we don't do

No analytics, no ads, no tracking pixels, no third-party trackers.
No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with anyone.
No cookies beyond the session cookie that keeps you signed in.

Data deletion

Want your account, scores, or achievements removed? Open an issue at github.com/RJFerguson/vibe-arcade/issues (or email hello@vibearcade.dev) and we'll delete the server-side records. Note that on-chain testnet settlements can't be deleted by anyone — that's how blockchains work.

Testnet money disclaimer

The High Score Circuit and Vibe Miner's coin-op use testnet USDC on Base Sepolia via the x402 protocol. This is play money: it has no monetary value, is available for free from public faucets, and cannot be converted into real funds. Payments are final — there are no refunds, because there is nothing of value to refund. Nothing here is a financial product, investment, or real-money gambling.
